My name is Jason and thanks for checking out the website! I grew up in Hammond, IN and after graduation from high school in 1992, I joined the United States Air Force. I started my military career as a B-52 (BUFF) Crew Chief working on the G & H models. After 3 years working "on the line", I decided it was time for a change and cross-trained into the Flight Engineer career field. Since 1996 I have flown the C-130E, AC-130U, and other variations. While I've traveled the world over, I have truly enjoyed every aspect of the job.
In 2010, I trained and qualified as a pilot and mission operator on the Raven B, Raven DDL, and Wasp (BATMAV) Small Unmanned Aerial Systems (SUAS).
I was introduced to model aviation in 2004 and I never looked back. I started with 50-90 size nitro helicopters and still enjoy building and flying them when given the chance. But, the fixed wing side of the hobby is my main focus and has given way to my passion of designing, assembling, and building jet, warbird, and scale aircraft of all sizes.
I have been truly blessed with great family and friends, they have provided endless support, encouragement, and understanding with my "addiction" to the radio control hobby. I currently live in Winfield, IN with my wife Lisa and sons, Jackson, Hunter and Kellen.
